This multi-award winning company was created in 2000 to exploit the significant consulting skills and strengths of team members aggregated from very senior roles within some of the World’s major consulting firms. Further, on the World Wide Web front, we wished to bring to market ideas generated from the e-commerce and internet revolution of the mid-nineties. And with around 12 full and part time consultants and programmers, we believe that we have some of the brightest minds either side of the Atlantic. The company now focuses on six technologies or processes

BRAND STRATEGY CONSULTANCY

Three members of the strategy team have been involved with many large, and some International strategy projects. Mike Phillips, for example has worked with two multi nationals on marketing strategy, Coats Viyella, a major player in consumer textiles – work primarily based in Moscow and St Petersburg. Secondly he has also worked in New York advising a major Photographic group (now part of Manfrotto Spa) on Internet marketing strategies. Smaller projects have been carried out in outdoor leisure companies, US ski manufacture and shoe repair components.

One member of the team, John, is currently working on a major Government backed nature/eco tourism project with Sefton Council regarding encouraging the red squirrel population and tourism of the Sefton Coast. Part of this project is the creation of Friends and ambassadors of this previously neglected NW England coastline strip. Our final member, Ian, has worked extensively in IT industries including ICL and has just finished a piece of work that involved the design, preparation and facilitation of strategy development for a major NHS Foundation Trust. Process included working with surgical, medical, nursing and operational staff to develop shared visions and plans bought-in to across organisation (2009).

INTEGRATED BRAND MARKETING (IBM)

IBM, also often called Integrated Marketing Communications is a simple concept that ensures that all forms of communications and messages are carefully linked together, ‘sing from the same hymn sheet’ and follow the same strategic direction. At its most basic level, IBM similar means integrating all the promotional tools, so that they work together in harmony.

Although IBM can be complex to some, it delivers many benefits. It can create competitive advantage, boost sales and profits, while saving money, time and stress. IBM wraps communications around customers and helps them move through the various stages of the buying process. The organisation simultaneously consolidates its image, develops a dialogue and nurtures its relationship with customers.

IBM  saves money as it eliminates duplication in areas such as graphics and photography since they can be shared and used in advertising, exhibitions and sales literature. Agency fees are reduced by using a single agency for all communications and even if there are several agencies, time is saved when meetings bring all the agencies together – for example, briefings, creative sessions, tactical or strategic planning. This integration reduces workload and subsequent stress levels!

DIGITAL MARKETING
Purepages, a Google Adwords qualified company, uses sophisticated digital marketing techniques to

  • Grow our clients markets geographically and grow their market share
  • Enhance their brand and brand awareness
  • Increase sales
  • Develop customer loyalty
  • Communicate simple or complex messages

In doing so we aim to maximise the amount of relevant traffic and motivate the visitors to come back time and again.

To operationalise our client’s Internet marketing objectives, we utilise three main mechanisms:

  • Search Engine Marketing: SEO and PPC
  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing

Other Digital Marketing Techniques
Whilst the Internet is the primary technique in Digital Marketing, other interactive processes are becoming increasingly important. They include:

  • Mobile telephony
    • SMS (texting or text messages)
    • MMS (multi- media, pictures etc)
  • Banner ads on high visitor volume websites
  • Digital outdoor ads

While digital marketing is effective when using one message type, it is much more successful when a marketer combines multiple channels in the message campaigns. For example, if a company is trying to promote a new product release, they could send out an email message or text campaign individually. This, if properly executed, could yield positive results. However, this same campaign could be exponentially improved if multiple message types are implemented.

Similarly, an email could be sent to a list of potential customers with a special offer for those that also include their cell phone number. A couple of days later, a follow up campaign would be sent via text message (SMS) with the special offer.

Push and pull message technologies can also be used in conjunction with each other. For example, an email campaign can include a banner ad or link to a content download. This enables a marketer to have the best of both worlds in terms of their marketing messaging.

CHARITIES & FUND RAISING
Business development and fund raising for charities and other similar not for profit organisations has been a primary focus of Purepages for several years now.  By using the Internet and all other relevant media channnels, we believe we generate the maximum revenues for our clients.  But whilst the Internet is our prime channel of choice, printed media in the form of brochures or especially A5 flyers is still important.  Electronic trading platforms creating affiliate fees from major UK Online retailers have proved a major development tool.
